I can have the muffler cut out for like twenty bucks. Does anyone think this will help with the sound/ performance at all? Wanting to do the pdf delete but havent broke down and bought it yet. Any ideas? Thanks

There are a lot of posts on here about removing the muffler and the general consensus is that it does little to increase the overall sound / performance since it is pretty much straight through but removing it might increase the highway drone a little bit.

don't even bother with the muffler, you will see no results since it is a straight through design.

it's tough to cough up the money on the dpf delete, but it's worth it in long run... i had the muffler off for a while with factory exhaust, and i didn't notice anything

i took my muffler off and didn't even know it was gone, no diffrence in sound, performance or mpg waste of money.
