Hey guys, my brother has an 05....2500 4x4....48re! He is telling me he has a lot of blow by exiting which i am assuming the breather tube. He bought the truck used with 50k. He started running royal purples 15w-40 when he got it and since his oil changes every 10k, the first time he had to add 8-10qts. Second oil change it dropped to around 4qts......what gives guys? He is also telling me it smells like glycol pretty bad and i will say that it does smell pretty thick when i am around his truck....figured it is from the weep hole! What do yall think.......Thanks guys!!

Pull the oil fill when it is running and see if it is blowing upward from there. This will give you a good clue!
