Webasto also has a bolt in kit for the 3rd gens too. We sell webasto, so thats what I put on my truck. There both junk when they dont work, great when they do. Yes I have worked on them all. The best info I can give you, a great dealer with support is what I would look for. Espar/Webasto have pretty much 50/50 market share of the world. The heaters come with pretty good instructions, so if you have abit of wrenching skill, you could put them in. The espar has a cool fuel pick, but I think there mounting spot is . Websato mounts very close to the engine, but there fuel pick up is different. Not sure about espar warranty, webasto has 2 years.

Sorry if I came across as a dealer myself. Im a tech @ a Freightliner/Western Star dealer. Webasto makes a heater called TSL17, stands for 17,000btu. Which we sell & install into Class 7/8 trucks. Which I put into my truck. Webasto also makes a heater called Blueheat whick uses the TSL17, but comes with a special wiring harness that is for 3rd gens that turn on the cab heater motor. So my truck doesnt have in cab heat, but I could care less, I just want the engine to start. Were not a blue heat dealer, I know some dodge dealers are, Eskimo Ref in Edmonton is. I think Rigcrawler on here works for Eskimo, has icon is a pic of Vestille Tractor. The timers we sell dont have a remote, sell for around $250 last I heard. I just have the toggle switch that comes with the heater. I can give help with install, let me know. If remeber right, heaters are selling around $1000ish, not the blue heat ones.
