I'm having a problem with my engine when I get around 65mph. When I get up to that speed or higher, the engine starts vibrating really loudly, it actually sounds like something is grinding. If I take my foot off the accelerator, it stops. I've searched around here and it sounds like it could either be an engine mount or balancer issues. Has anyone had any issues like that with their truck? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd start by crawling underneath and inspecting. Make sure everything's tight and has oil in it. With a flash light you should be able to check the motor mounts depending how much oil and dirt is in there.

Both up top are right. Traveling speed has nothing to do with an engine vibration. If it does it in neutral while bringing up the rpms than you may have an engine issue. When an engine vibration is present the first thing to check in my apinion is the harmonic balancer, the sealant/rubber compound that holds the inner and outer pieces together tend to seperate. If you aren't carfule and lose it hold onto your wallet cause. The outer piece tends to sling upwards and take out your fan followed by your radiator...... Had it happen twice on hesston 8550 swathers exactly a week apart. Not much fun.
