I am rebuilding my 1996 12 valve engine. I rebuilt my last 12 valve 10 years ago. I want to make sure I'm up to speed on the best parts. I am a reliability builder first and foremost. My block is now .020 over bored as it was required. I am looking for advice on anything and everything involving hard parts and gaskets.

I am also interested in who you've purchased from good and bad. Thank you.

Buy only Cummins oem, Mahle, brand name stuff.
Beware of cheap chinese crap.
Lots of authentic Cummins stuff IS chinese, and still good.
Don't buy on amazon unless you're absolutely sure it legit.
Be careful buying on ebay.
Best to stick with well know retailers of cummins parts.
