Hello all in looking for a place to buy all new pulleys and idlers for the front of a 04.5 cummins I'm rebuilding since the motors down I wanted to see if I can just go back all new instead of transferring from the old motor thanks

Amazon for cheapest price. Any old brand should be fine I'd think. You can actually just load new bearings in your existing stuff since you have the time.

My parts store tensioner has been great for close to 2 years.

Genos Garage has Cummins OE parts for some and other options. I just replaced my tensioner when I did the fluidampr in August. I was going to replace the idler pulley too, but it looked great and rolled smooth so I left it.

I just changed a belt last week (green one)and figured I'd do the tensioner with one I had on the shelf while it was apart. (Gates I believe).

The actual belt tension was weaker than before the swaps. LOL
Belt holds just fine but I'd use genuine Cummins if possible.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking at replacing every pulley on the motor including fan pulley and have them sent off to powder coat. All of the old ones are ok except fan it got beat up a little when pulling old motor just figured for what I have in the new motor I'd just go all new and the local stealership wants a small fortune imagine that. Didn't know if some our all could be purchased together from cummins our a online mopar dealer. Thanks again
