engine bay fuel filter

Watched some Youtube videos and have been changing fuel filters on my 2020 Laramie ever since. Always noted the requirement to orient the rear, under-the-truck filter properly due to the notches on the top of the filter, but never saw anything about orientation of the engine bay filter...until I ran across a video by chance recently that showed the gasket on the bottom of the filter being somewhat oval. Not all videos mention this filter needs a special orientation because of this... but some do.
So is there a need to orient this engine bay filter due to the oval gasket?
