just installed my FP gauge at my buddies shop and all i'm getting is PSI of pressure. any ideas on what it could be? bad life pump, ground, what? any help would be apprecited

How many PSI?
Of course the obvious answer is to recheck all your wiring. Was this a new gauge or used? Senders do go bad sometimes. Mine did this week.....
