I have the EDGE CS2 with the Edge EAS Expandable EGT Probe installed in the manifold pre-turbo. Tuck is tuned by Anarchy (I keep it on TOW or STREET)

I've set the alarm to go off when EGT goes above 1350: when they do I get a blinking warning and a beeping sound. It has happened 3 times now that if I stomp on the accelerator the EDGE goes alarm off saying EGT are at 2,800+ degF but no beeping.

Now, it seems very odd to me that EGT actually got that hot. I'm thinking something with the probe is actually not right. Has anyone experience anything like this?

I just installed my Edge CS2 and probe before turbo so I don't have an answer for your question, but I'm curious what are some average normal temps for idle, normal driving average and high, and towing about 8k lbs. Lastly what would be considered dangerously high.

Lastly I haven't looked at my exhaust to see if I see a sensor, but I'm getting a reading from the post turbo egt PID. I'm deleted and have a straight 4" AFE. Is that post turbo EGT worth watching too?
