I contacted DieselManor to ask their techs about it they pretty much referred me to the install sheets that was provided in the kit. I know they say not to let the egts get above 1250 or thats about average for driving. Now the two gauge setup for egt 's is a good idea but which gauge would you be more conserned with the 1 that monitors 123, or 456.
You'd want to see the highest temperature your engine sees, 4,5,6 will give you that reading.
1,2,3 will still be pretty close too, but as long as either is pre-turbo youll still have an accurate reading.

This would be simple. Just buy and install 2 exhaust probes. Run the wires to a double throw/double pole toggle switch on the dash and you can switch to compare.

The manifold is designed to get the pulse to the turbo, putting the probe in the manifold disturbs the flow. It is not a large port and blocking it, seems to me to be a poor idea. On a class eight they put the probe in the outlet elbow, and monitor the temp to keep it below 1200F

u guys with it above 5&6 what numbers do you see as aposed to those with it lower in the manifold. where exactly did u put it above or in the side of the manifold. also if you drill for 1,2,3 what number should you stay below
