While driving normal last night the egts spiked from normal range to like 1600-1800, and then when i shut my truck off and restart it the egt show 0 until i rev the engine it goes up past 1200 and the alert on the edge goes off just while reving. also while driving when the alert goes off, i lose some power like the edge is backing down. Any suggestions

I'm assuming you don't have a mechanical egt gauge as well? I'd assume the probe is somehow faulty or the edge component itself. I'd check the connection from the probe to the box.

after messing around with the egt probe and just turning the key on without engine running it showed 350 degrees so id say its the probe malfunctioning- but we will see ordered one from edge

Me edge probe went bad too it does the same thing. I'm going to get a autometer probe and hook it up. Seems like people have problems with the edge probes
