Just finished my deletes last Friday and in hind sight, I never really took EGT's into much consideration . I have the XTR Pro stock tune ( no power) H&S ATT tuning. I have already looked at gauges for boost and EGT's and looking to get them here ASAP. Till that times gets here, Should I be overly concerned about EGT's? Normally what should they be running at on a deleted truck? I keep out the skinny and bring it up to speed moderately. Moderately being not mashing the pedal but not a traffic hazard at the same time. Keep it in locked to 5th gear and turning roughly 1900 to 2100 RPM's after ATT tuning installed. Not really towing anything at for the time being till early summer. Thanks in advance for any input.

2008 Quad Cab Grey, Auto Trans, DPF/EGR/Cooler cluttering garage not the truck. XTR Pro, no power setting, H&S ATT Tuning. Waiting on another long weekend for Down pipe removal.

On stock power your EGT's will be fine. Drive it like you normally would and don't worry about it.

I run mine on wild and ever raced a buddy in hot on the freeway. I've towed the trailer in my sig on mild. The only thing I've really ever had to worry about was my boost

I have the mini max and run it on wild and hot. I have egt problems as long as I don't have I floored. My tuner also has a defueling option where once it reaches a certain temperature (1400degrees) it will turn itself to the no power setting. As long as you keep it between stock or the next setting you will be fine. Even on the higher setting as long as you drive regular you will be fine also. In terms of egts*

My truck is deleted and I have my pyro in the rear blockoff on the manifold. My EGT's run on average 680 to 780 depending on acceleration level. I have yet to see a return to anything close to the 1,000+ that my EGT's would climb to before I was deleted.
