I unplugged mine. Got check engine light. Not sure if MPG's went up, i only get about 13-14mpg hand calc with it unplugged and 4.10 gears. Mostly highway.

Truck doesnt sound any different. Just makes sense for me to leave it unplugged so i dont recirc that crap.

I had mine unplug intill I got my mini max put on. I notice a little mileage increase. It does cause the check engine ligt to come on and since the check engine light on the remote start doesn't work. That the only draw back that i notice. Now it up to you on maybe a little mileage increase and a cleaner engine or have the check engine light on and no remote start

The check engine light on? That is the only problem? And when I plug it back in the light will go out?
Yeah the CEL is the only problem that ive had. After plugging it back in the light will go out after a few key cycles. I took mine to the dealer a few weeks ago to get a new flash and my radio kept freezing up, so i just plugged it back in one night, went to town to eat and ran some errands, and i shut it off everytime. I probably started and shut it off 5 or 6 times and when i got home i killed it and started it one more time and the light went off.
