For those of you with more than 5K on your trucks with the EGR and DPF delete, can you share what you've seen in terms of MPG and fuel knock?

I am not looking for more smoke, don't really need much more power either (for now), just want better fuel economy.

If I set my cruise control and have a little self control I average 18-19 mpg before the deletes I was only getting around 14-15 before. Also I have not heard the fuel knock on mine for a long time, not sure what made it quit but I think it actually was the egr delete that made it quit not for sure though

I am getting a consistent 17 MPG with mine 75% town driving and 25% towing between 5k and 17k. I have been running the deletes for about 8k. I heard the Knock for a little while but since i have been running the MP-8 Cranked i havent noticed it. I dont have the AX flash either.

no after the delete egr, mp8 and pmt i can get 20 on the highway, cruizin at 75. i prolly would have been more but i had some pesky tailgaters that needed to be delt with.

my setings where mp-8 100%, and PMT Extreme get the best fuel mileage when cruizin past 65. it shutters during anything lower than 65

I would say most of it is the MP-8, EGR i dont think helps the mileage as much as just lets it run cooler and cleaner.

I know a guy on here that has a DPF and EGR block off.. recently form Texas to Alabama he got 20...

He said with just the DPF it would really smoke, but the the DPF and EGR blockoff on a otherwise stock motor it runs great, and clean....

My milage has gone up since the egr delete, It also made my overhead further off. I think the milage goes up form how much less it smokes. Mine would smoke just cruisin down the road with no load on it, now it doesn't. So that fuel is gettin burned to push the truck not just out the tail pipe!

The AX flash is only for the 07.5 models. If you have a manual transmission the latest flash is AO, if you have an automatic the latest flash is AP for the 08 models.

i ran a couple of times just before the egr and dpf fell off, 75mph was getting 450miles/tank, with about 20k on the truck, now seem to be getting 620 or better depending on wind. afe megga II and edge on level 2. this works out to about 14.7 prior and 20.9 now. well worth the time and money to me, i drive alot for work and won't take that long to pay off the extras with fuel this high.:thumbsup
