any problems with the edge attitude monitors
i heard that they are the worst to use because they ruin your truck
also if you have a tuner what is chance of you ruining your truck

extra speed vs ruin truck

i would choose to save the truck

The monitor won't do anything to "ruin" the truck but the program might. Any tuner that adds any power can lead to failure but at least in my experience the most common thing is the transmission. If much more power is added the tranny's tend to fail. Mine did and I am sure there are a lot of people on here who have done in the tranny. Just beware.

The edge by itself shouldn't give you any problems. But if you haven't bought one dont I would recommend going with a different chip or just go with a programmer with gauges

I like my edge juice- attitude. On level 3 I have picked up 2 mpg (hand calculated). There are lots of people running them in their diesels, but its like anything else- do your home work before buying one. For the average guy that wants a little extra- they really wake the truck up. But if you want serious power- probably another downloader/plug in box would suit you better.

The Edge Juice w Attitude is a great box looking for some power, safety, gauges, and mpg bump all in one. It can be a little rough on your stock tranny if you crank it up to 4 or 5 but it's not likely to do engine damage.

The Edge Juice with Attitude is a great setup for starters and it is very safe if you set it up properly. It's very expensive new so I'd just get a used on out of the classifides.

IMO its a great package chip, comes with just about everything, I had one on my 01 and loved it a few buddys have them with the HOT #6 and pulled some pretty impressive dyno numbers.
