Edge Juice w/attitude and Smarty Levels.

I just picked up a 2006 Regular cab, the previous owner had an Edge Juice and Smarty installed. I am curious as to what levels work the best. I keep the Edge at level 3 but I am not sure what to keep the Smarty at. I do some towing but I usually drive like a grandma due to the cost of fuel and transmissions. I am just wondering what levels people on the forum have found success with.

The edge juice does timing so you need to keep the smarty on even number settings. Does it have any gauges? If not I wouldn't go past 3 on the smarty alone... I don't know what would be safe with the edge stacked. Does it not have the attitude? If not, maybe you could look into that because you can display quite a bit with it and change the edge settings on the fly.
The truck has the attitude so it monitors the EGT and Tranny temp. So all edges do timing?? I thought that they were fuelers.

I thought the edge was a pressure box?!
Someone correct me if im wrong, but as far as I was aware... the EZ is a pressure box. You are correct arm_bender, the juice does fueling, but it does timing as well. The smarty on even numbers does not modify the timing. If you run the juice and have the smarty on odd number programs you run the risk of having too much timing and cooking a piston along with other issues.

On the 04.5+ the Ez is a pressure box while the juice does timing and duration. Personally I would either only use the juice for gauges and run the smarty or ditch the juice all together. JMHO but the smarty has much better tunes. :thumbsup
