If you had your choice, which one would you run? And why?
Thanks for great info. I've read of a few people having issues and what not with timing settings. Maybe it's just them and how they are running it. Glad to hear you have been trouble free.I like my Edge for:
1 Gauges with multiple configurations.
2 Adjustable power settings on the fly.
I don't want anything controlling power addition
without being able to back it down myself, for towing. I decide on EGT temps
3 High EGT defueling and it's adjustable.
4 EGT probe at the manifold and it comes with it.
5 I can add a camera(s)
6 I can add a turbo timer
7 Makes good reliable power without over fueling on setting 3 and has excellent driveability.
8 Simple product with good build quality and a nice display.
9 Good value for the money.
10 They had the first reliable product on the market that met all these requirements.
Yes, I would buy it again. This unit has been flawless and my truck isn't having any issue's with it installed. It's the only modification on my truck and it works, and works well.
Put the easiest to install on and run it awhile. See how it feels. Take it off and put the other on and run it. See how it feels. Then.......report your findings back to us so we know what to getThanks for great info. I've read of a few people having issues and what not with timing settings. I actually have both programmers/modules in hand, and not sure which to run, lol..
I second all of this. I've been really happy with my Edge since day one. On a truck where tuning looked impossible and hopeless for a long time, The Edge is/was a great product to have some fun with. I did a lot of reading before I bought an the final factor for me was being able to monitor what was going on with the truck as opposed no display when the Stryker first came out.I like my Edge for:

The Informant is a private labeled CTS. As far as controlling power levels they are working on a 10 level adjustable EAS adapter for us now. Same monitor just different power modules.I like my Edge for:

:confused013: Who's an informant and who's working on this adapter ?The Informant is a private labeled CTS. As far as controlling power levels they are working on a 10 level adjustable EAS adapter for us now. Same monitor just different power modules.
Dennis, can you tell us anymore about the upcoming changes? There are a lot of us that are torn between the (2) systems...The Informant is a private labeled CTS. The newest upcoming upgrade will be getting the EAS adapter to control the Stryker's 10 power levels. We will also have an option for current Stryker owners to upgrade to the new adjustable option with the Informant Monitor. We have also combined the Stryker and Informant to be sold as a package deal. The micro code has all been updated and running very well.Dennis, can you tell us anymore about the upcoming changes? You don't have to but it couldn't hurt at all.Do you need to upgrade your lift pump for these tuners?
