I am looking for input from anybody who has actually had experience with both of these boxes. Also, please try to list the differences. One thing I would like to know is that I know that with the hot unlock the edge comp will fuel to 3200rpms, but does the quad adrenaline fuel up to 3200rpms also?

The quality of the edge is alot better then the quadzilla. But the quadzilla pumps out amazing amounts of power. So you get one or the other from my experience with them both.

can you just download tunes from the internet or do you have to get them from a shop or do it yourself

the edge comp is pretty solid in my opinion. i've had my comp for three years now and it's never let up on me. i'm getting ready as we speak to send it in to get the drag upgrade. then it'll fuel to a higher rpm and not cut back. i've never experienced the surging with the comp that the adr users seem to get once in a while. the only downside of the comp is that it is very easy to let smoke roll out the exhaust. that's if the boost settings on the comp are cranked up. if you've got the boost settings turned down then it hardly smokes. but this is with the injectors with what i have tho. two thumbs up for the comp from me!!!

i've had both edge then the adr now back to the edge. my adr never did run right was at quad more than it was in the truck after 4 month with no resolution im back to the edge hot unlocked. some people have good luck with quad but in my experience there product still needs alot of work.

I have ran both on my truck and I could never get my quad to fuel right and work without surging on my truck. I now have the drag comp and I am very happy with it. I will not go back. The drag comp is smooth and has tons of power. IMHO I would go with the drag comp. But I have heard good things about the custom tuning with the ADR when it is working right

one thing i didnt see mentioned is price. a good comp can be had for 200-250 bucks. minus the drag version ofcourse, which is 100 bucks extra. i've never tried the drag comp, or an ADR, but the regular comp is great.

I guess I'll be the other side of the argument here... I have an edge comp and I've had to send it in twice to be repaired. It'll stick at one power level and leave it inoperable at times. However, they have fixed it both times which I've had to pay only shipping ($5 each time I think..) It started doing it to me again so I just turned it off and haven't turned it on in about 8 months. Also, I have a VP that adds timing by itself so running the edge (without controllable timing) puts too much timing on at once. It's kinda like stacking two timing boxes. BAD. Anyways, I haven't ever tried an adrenaline, but I'm not that impressed with my comp which I paid $629 for. I could have done better.

yup each box seems to have it's little quirks it seems. i chose the edge comp cuz it's been around for a while. i shouldn't knock on the adr like i do. with time im sure it will only get better.:headbang:

I've had the drag comp. for a year and a half and it's necer give me any fits. And i don't know aboout the ADR but my edge will stay turned off on it's own if it's below a certain temp. outside to avoid doin any engine damage.
