What can I stack an edge comp with without needing an upgraded turbo (or do I need one anyhow?)

Thanks.

Now what if I was doing this on a 99 with the HX35 and a completely rebuilt manual tranny with rebuilt drive shafts? (this would be on my friend's)

Thanks for the link to the stacking thread, answers my questions (and thanks to everyone else for their input)...I completely missed that thread.

Then he would need an upgraded clutch and more turbo if your going to stack.
He has a southbend clutch so I'm guessing the bigger turbo would be the only need.

when you stack a fueling chip on top of a fuel/timing chip the fuel that gets thrown at it is crazy. i just got a smarty to stack with me edge juice 2 days ago drove with the smarty on 8 for a day and had to turn it down to 2 because the smoke was ridiculous

Ive got the hx 35 with a boost elbow and I don't have any egt problems with the drag comp/smarty stack. As hot as it usually gets is 900* post-turbo which is probably 1200* in the manifold. If you really beat on it by slowing down and speeding up over and over or pull a heavy load it will get too hot but thats what the pyrometer is for.
