When I first go out to start my truck I have to cycle the key a few times before the Edge gets power. If I don't it will trip the CEL, any thoughts?

Mine does that to, but only when its cold, and only since I had it upgraded to a drag comp. I figured it was a cold weather safety feature.

Key point, it's only when its cold. Forgot to mention that.:doh: I didn't know the Edge had a "cold weather safety feature"?

thought i may have read somewhere that the edge may act up when it's really cold in the cab until it warms up a little?

it would make sense...mine's been acting kinda funny lately too, just not catching, or hooking up, or just running rough, since it's been frigid outside. Now that it's warming up, I'll have to take a look at it again, and see what's up...

Mine does this too. Only in the mornings tho, and I do plug it in every night. Except mine will run with it off and not throw a CEL.

Hey,

I haven't noticed any problems with mine!!! But I let my truck warm up 10-15 minutes in the morning so that might help!!:confused013::S:

Yeah mine does it aswell, honestly I just thought it was from the grid heater drawing so much power on cold days. I normally only have to cycle it once and it's fine.

Mine does it to when it is cold out. Never did it before i had it Drag Model. Just cycle the key and i will come on. Edge had no answer for me when i called them with the problem i was having. all my connections are good. And it still does it.

Mine does the same thing but only when it's cold outside. I called Edge and they want $150 to fix it. Forget that, I payed $250 for it used. I bought the Comp for reliability vs. the Quad Adr. Atleast it works when it finally turns on.
