ok bud i think you are golden but do me a favor to make sure. Because with 2 days your walking on the knife edge here bud. not sure which tuner your lookn at and not going to rec wither one just some info for ya. If its H&S products check with Casey or Bentley at H&S and make sure there tuner will recognize a protected tuner in case yours is. I know the Smarty will if you have the bootloader smarty will come up on screen and tell ya PROTECTED ECM but I am not sure on H&S stuff but I do know thye have OUTSTANDING Customer Service so they will help ya. I think your in the clear but be safe and make sure

someone told him wrong bud the edge is the only tuner that will work even if your ecm is locked. the edge does not reprogram the ecm so the bootloader is no issue for it. it is an indepth fooler box that works fine even with the locked ecm no worries at all with the edge. the edge tells lies basically to the ecm that conditions are different then what they really are to cause it ti fuel harder or sppol faster. the edge is currently the only tuner the locked guys have the option of running. dont go iff of that smarty and XRT/Black max are different they are programmers and rewrite the ecm which is where the bootloader comes into play

yeah a lot of guys group it in with the true programmers but its not it is a fooler box and like I said is the only options the locked ecm guys have for now. So it wont tell ya if your locked or not. you can run the edge, quad boost fooler, fleece fooler, and the mp8 even if you locked but no xrt/blackmax or smarty YET
