Can someone inform me of a vendor that would carry all these items needed for the DP gauge? Thank you
Would it be possible to create an interface to utilize the factory drive pressure sensor to run an aftermarket gauge? Similar to the way the rail pressure gauges work now. IMO that would be the best setup.I didn't realize that the 6.7L added a factory drive pressure sensor. I'll have to add a reference in the instructions for the ISSPRO Exhaust Backpressure Gauge.

Oh, that is a different deal. You dont have an EB. I doubt you need it. If you did I am sure you would be getting a code.i dont have the manifold on there i put a turbo and new manifold on there. dint have anywere to put it so left it open
Good point. I'll look into it.Would it be possible to create an interface to utilize the factory drive pressure sensor to run an aftermarket gauge? Similar to the way the rail pressure gauges work now. IMO that would be the best setup.
Any ETA on the release of the install kit or the 6.7L kit? I could just get the fittings but it would save me some time. Most ISSPRO dealers should have what you need. Here is a list of forum sponsors that are ISSPRO dealers:
FTE Diesel - Jackthebear3
Holland Court - jbarker
Genos Garage - Genos Garage
Rollin Smoke Diesel - Rollin Smoke Diesel
Xtreme Diesel Performance - [email protected]
8LugTruckGear.com - Skyd Ram George
dieselautopower.com - jkidd
We are releasing an installation kit to go with the Exhaust Backpressure (i.e., drive pressure) gauges. It will come with a pre-coiled length of tubing and necessary fittings for installation directly into an exhaust manifold. If tapping into the 6.7L's factory sensor plumbing you would need to add a tee and a few more fittings. I'll look into releasing a 6.7L kit too!

BTW - the install kit has been released, R78855. List price (of course nobody actually pays list price with the internet around) is $24.89.

Ok so when doing a turbo swap I. Can just remove this sensor and not have to worry about pluging it?Oh, that is a different deal. You dont have an EB. I doubt you need it. If you did I am sure you would be getting a code.
Sorry, I should have read your sig.
If I was you I would use the stock stainless tubing, and that pressure port on the T-stat, and put in an DP sender in that stock location.
All you have to do is drill and tap the exhaust manifold for the tubing to thread in.
Currently it does not although Casey said that he is adding it to the PID's that he would ike to monitor in the future.:thumbsup:I dont know if its out there, im sure someone will know. Does black maxx make a drive pressure gauge to work with the BM. If not it would be nice to add one on and have it right up on the screen with all the other goodies.
I don't think you will have a problem , there is a fair bit of air flow from the fan + while you are in motion , you have to think now the factory SS line is connected to a sensor without any issues , adding a T - fitting and a bit more line will only make it cooler .I am just wondering but if you moved farther down the stock stainless steel line to put the t tap in would you have to run so much line for cooling purposes for the sensor?
I am about to install mine and was trying to think of a way to add less things into the engine bay.
