what is the biggest tire you can run without spacers and what is the best tire yall have found to run.

I believe the biggest you can run without a spacer is a 265/70/17 (stock SRW tire size)

I was thinking that 265's on these stock wheels on our duallys would have been as much as you could have ran. Heck I was thinking even the 265's would have touched LOL??? I look forward to what everyone has messed with on this...

Ran 265 70 17 cooper stt's my last set. You couldnt stick your finger between them but they fit and didn't rub. Only towed 12k with them though.

I have 265/70/17 big horns on stock wheels and havent had any rubbing. stock is 235.

Carry a pry bar then if you get on any dirt roads...they look alot better, but its no worth a new fender to me...lol

Whats the biggest you can run on a 2 gen dually? i was thinking about some 255/85/16 bfg mud terrains. I dont tow heavy anymore socould i do 265's?

what does the 265/70/17 convert over to in inches? i am looking for a 33 or 34 in tall tire that is about 10 or 10.5 inches wide.. that would look good on a dually.. but I want them in an all terrain or even a highway terrain. I like the new nitto dura grapplers, but like i said i am having trouble finding a tire like that in the size i want. anyone know of one?

If your not afraid of spacers...you can go pretty big.

The 265 comes out to around 31" by 10" wide i believe. I wanted to go bigger myself, but i want to get up around 34"...so im thinking about 19.5" wheels.

i went with a 265/70/17 and used a 3/16 spacer i had a local machine shop make.....worked great with stock lugs and gave it a little more room for comfort!

I know that my 1st gen rear duals touch and their 265/78/16 im pretty sure.
