Have you seen this?well ill be ordering 2 walbro's tomorrow. i sold the fass that i was going to put on. i will be running 1/2'' line all the way to the cp3.
do you guys think i need to do a return line on my set up???
ive seen it, very good piece of info. i just didnt know if i had to run a bigger return line from the cp3. i guess it will be shoving a lot of fuel in there though.Have you seen this?

It's kind of old, If I were to do it now, I'd use a boost referenced pressure regulator to bring pressure up as boost comes up.
What are you running for a regulator?the walbro pumps are not self regulated like the FASS system. you need to run an external bypass type regulator with the bypass return plumbed into your existing return line to the fuel tank.
i would run the pumps parallell, teed back into a 1/2" collector, then 1/2" lines.
put check valves on both the discharge sides of the pump before it goes into the collector, then run 1 pump off a switch in the cab. this way you can run off 1 pump for daily driving, then manually kick in the second pump for kill mode
* one walbro pump is more than enough for a stock cp3 btw, my supply pressure is set at 20psi & i cant bring it below 18psi with the smarty AND the TST on *
its an aeromotive regulator, im running all 3/8" lines & have a 2mic. filter between the stock one and the cp3 (pressure referenced off the top of the cp3)What are you running for a regulator?
I have a Glacier setup and it runs about 20 at idle and around 15 while drive. With the smarty cranked up I can get it to drop to around 10. I have an electronic pricol gauge measuring pressure at the inlet of the CP3. I have 3/8' line from the tank to the stock filter and stock filter to CP3.
Thanks
The setup you bought has a pre filter.well i just bought everything. with an adjustable regulator. im going to run them side by side and T them into 1/2''.
also grabbing a filter setup off of a semi with a 2 mic filter. should i run a prefilter before the pumps???
I would (or, did I should say) up the CP3 return/injector return lines to 3/8" at least and yes, run a "pre-filter." I'm running a Baldwin FB1311 with a Baldwin BF1212 filter BEFORE my Walbro. It's a 10 micron with 98(?)% W/S. This setup constantly cleans/separates the water because the relief valve keeps sending the clean fuel back to the tank. Then after the Walbro I have another FB1311 with a Cat 2 micron...well i just bought everything. with an adjustable regulator. im going to run them side by side and T them into 1/2''.

Haha yeah the o-ring fitting is -10 to -6 JIC, on a baldwin FB1311 you would need a o-ring -10 to -8 and -8 JIC or AN pushlocks. As far as a pre-pump filter Baldwin makes the BF1212 which is 20 microns IIRC and a suction filter so you will have no vacuum side suction problems.^^^^ hahahaha simple math
