Well it may not be as stupid for some but i was telling myself, dont do it, dont do it, its stupid, dont do it. Well i did it anyways. I helped my brother move one weekend and he was riding with me, we were empty. Pulled up to a stop sign that was out in the country with a slight incline. You could see where other people tried doing some little burnouts and i knew i could better, and with my brother with me, i had to show off a little. He likes that stuff. Well did a 3rd gear burnout, no brake and roasted my 315's for about 30', over twice what everyone elses marks where.

eelout Everything was fine. Well i helped him move and went and dropped the trailer back off and on my way back out i was by myself and was coming up to the same stop sign again.
Well as im coming up to the stop sign. I was thinking to myself, that burnout was way too easy, wonder if i can hit 4th. Then for a mile before i stop, im trying to convince myself its stupid dont do it, dont do it and it worked until i stopped at the stop sign.
So i launched in 3rd, roasting my 315's, so i bury the rpms about 3500, hoping the tires will stay spinning when i shift. Well, i hit 4th, dump the clutch, the tires stick, the engine revs, my clutch slips and i dont move. After a few seconds and realize my tires arent spinning i stop and go on my way. When i stopped you could smell the burnt clutch really bad. :thud:
I know you can slip a DD and itll be fine but didnt know how much it would actually take. Thought i would just give it some time to work itsself back out but doesnt seem to be working.
