Can you provide any of the DTC’s on any of your previous visits? The Dealership just replaced the DPF filter again!!! This is the third filter (2nd replacement) in my truck and it only has 17k miles on it. I am getting real tired of taking it into the dealership to have it manually regen'ed. It does the auto regen until it reaches near 100% and then it won't regen automatically any more, and I have to take it into the dealership. They manually regen it until they just can't do it any more and they replace the DPF filter.
Anyone else having this issue?
FYI - the only mod I have on the engine is an S&B Cold Air intake.

They said the only code was for the DPF.Did the dealership pull any codes from the truck? I had pressure sensors failed in couple of trucks, and that’s about it. Never had another problem with DPF even when “daily-driving” for several months without putting my truck under the load to burn soot. Go to a good diesel mechanic if your dealer so messed up
Can you double check on one of your previous repair invoices? They said the only code was for the DPF.
Hey there,Hi Callie,
My RAM is still at the dealership having the CP4 fuel pump replaced with the CP3. They told me it would take a couple of weeks. So any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks, Leonard (Yakkety Yak)

Ho do I send you a DM?
The easy way to do that is to grab a spray bottle and fill it with soapy water, starting at the turbo hot pipe spray the solution on the connections, then go to the cold pipe and spray the connections there. You are looking for bubbles, if you don't see any, check the intercooler nextHow do you do that?
DEF fluid does NOT crystal up.................................. If sealed from air..... If a person has problems of it doing so, they have an air leak........
...
I had modifications done to mine 5 years ago. The big D. I asked the place that did it, if, they drained the DEF tank. YEP, they said, and i never checked, as the guage went and stayed on E.
...
Last year i prepped for a truck camper buy, that fell through. The 2 door frame mount tie down, goes right were the DEF tank mount is, so i dropped the tank and mount. The tank was half full at least. I took out the pump, and rinsed it, and saved it. The tank i flipped over and drained, and not one crystal on anything, the fluid looked like new............... Till i dumped it and it dried and then it had crystals.
I bought mine new from Rocky Mountain Dodge at the beginning of 2020.When I was looking for my 2500 came across a newer 2500 that was priced lower than most 2500s. Low miles and just over a year old. Turns out it was a Lemon Law return. Ram was never able to repair a leaky door….
Thank you. I think I got the conversation with Ram Cares started.@RamCares
I started a ticket with Ram Cares. I'll let you know where that goes. The truck is currently in the shop having the CP4 fuel pump replaced under recall.Sorry to tag onto this but it looks like a conversation associated to my problem?
So, regarding the thread and the DPF and dealers, I just had the actuator replaced by the dealer (extended factory warranty). After they installed it they called and said the DPF is full and will not regen they want 5K to replace the filter. I picked it up today and drove until the regen complete notice appeared. Can the malfunctioning actuator and limp mode cause the filter to fill up?
