You need to have the Edge with Attitude on so you can delete the codes on start up. This is the one of the only ways to do it and the best way i know of.

DPF Delete now Limp mode
Just removed DPF and drove the truck to the dealer to clear the codes. The tech drove the truck after clearing the codes and 2 came back. The Starscan wouldn't let him delete the codes so he said to drive it. On my way back to the house it went into limp mode. What is my the next step?

He has a C&C so the Juice is a no go. He is making his own kit with out a fooler box which you can do in the C&C.
I have heard that there are many techs out there that do not know all of the in's and out's of the Starscan device. Many of our members have actually coached some techs on how to make the scanner do what is needed. Maybe your ecm is okay and all you need is a more knowledgeable tech person to fix the software.

Find Pointdexter here on the forums. He has the C&C and knows how to get the Home made Setup to work right.
Has anyone gotten the c&c fooler boxes to work? I am waiting for the code free box.
Quick update! The DPF is back on, overhead still says cat. full, tons of codes but no more limp mode. Oh yeah and it will not go into regen. :lol3:

The ECM programming is different on the C&C vs the regular pickups, that is why not all tuners work on them.Why does the Edge and Delete not work on the C&C? What is the difference?
Update, Now I can't get the truck to go into regen. Pressure sensor is disconnected and it drives like a champ. Not sure what to try next. Maybe the MPG will go up now. :rof
