well, considering Kodiak just weighed in at 48k gross weight with his 5500, and I'm pretty sure he has a dpf delete, I'd say you should be fine.:thumbsup: All you're going to do by deleting it is to let your engine breathe better, which is never a bad thing.

DPF Delete and Towing?
HI All! I 'm new to the furum and new to the Diesel world and LOVIN IT!
Anyhow, I am very interested in doing a homebrew DPF delete. My question is - How does the DPF delete affect towing if any at all?
I frequently pull my 37ft fiver up north here from PHX Az and don't want to screw with the towing capabilities of my rig. But I don't want that emissions BS on there. My truck sounds very wussy like and I am pretty dang sure I can get a whole crap load of more power out of her.
If anyone has any info on this I would love to hear it!
