dpf and egr delete kits

well i just ordered my kits yesturday and there being shipped today,feel like a kid on christmas day yehaww,,,,,,,finnaly i'll be getting smoke cummin out of my stacks and a better sounding diesel the way there supposed to sound im going to do both kits at the same time for the guys that have done this already whats the time line for doing this 4-5 hours it looks easy so it shouldnt take to long ,thanks to bill at purecummins for the s&h delete kits

you would never guess guys my service manger at my dealer told me that he isnt going to void my warrenty i couldnt beleive it he said i take real good care of my truck and that hes not going to outrite void it so wow i guess thats a good thing :woot:

you got that right. get it in writing and tell them to pass it on to the other dealers so everybody can start takin there exaust off. then dad will put a chip on his mabe

you no i here that with everybody "get it in writing"but you damn well they arent going to do that he told me he aint going to void my warrenty but if the issue im in there for has anything to do with the mod then i have to pay for the fix wich i can respect but if i need balljoints tierods ect ect then its under warrenty ,my dealer allways does the work and service on my truck and we get along very well so if he lies well he lies if he honers his word then hes a man like i say all i got is my word and my balls and i aint breaking them for anybody gotta love that tony montanna hehe

I"m the same way with sumbody i trust. but if it was some random dealer i didn't no i would but i understand. good luck to ya and hope you don't have anyproblems. we just got a few on dads turbo from the egr valve stoppin up but o well.

well ive known my service mangaer for 10 years ive bought 4 trucks there and hes always worked on my trucks from new so like i said im one of the lucky ones thats all,what happend to your dads truck ???

The check engine light comes on and its the egr valve stopping up for sume reason. everybody says he's not driving it hard enough. but i drive it plenty hard. lol. but if he would buy the kit you have it wouldn't happen anymore. they haven't had a chance to clean it yet. they have been backed up with other stuff. so idk. wat kind of miliage u gettin?

Not that I care, I got a 5.9, but anybody know what the fine is for deleting the particulate filter?

I'm thinking about going strait pipe on my converter, what's the fine on that?

I hope no EPA agents or Environuts are reading this.......... ohoh, there's a knock at my door.

I have had several conversations with our local dealers (parts and service guys) and they all told me that cummins doesnot care much for that stuff being added to their engines.

Needless to say, removing it should help the Engine breath better and last longer. The issue becomes the EPA.

The fact they want us to use 2x the fuel to make cleaner! I do not get it...

Well they are the government

If they made engines cleaner, more reliable, and getting better mileage they wouldn't be in the government, they'd be in the private sector.
