got the new issue of diesel power mag and i have been waiting for it for the 24v budget build section.
in the $5,000 dollar budget they say
gauges
lift pump
programmar/module
intake
exhaust
torque converter or clutch
injectors
62-64 mm turbo
they estiate this to make 450-500 hp.
they didnt mention a valve body or shift kit in there and i am now wondering with a geat reputible magazine with much expeirence, im now wondering if i got a tc, triple or single disk, a edge comp instead of ez, 100 hp injectors, and the 62 mm turbo, if i would be fine without the billet shafts. im not expecting mine to make 450-500 with my exhaust intake a comp 100 hp injectors and a 62/65/12 turbo. im thining i would probably be more around 350-400. Anyways, there is no real black and white answer for te question of how much you can throw at a stock tranny with a vb and tc but, if diesel power says tc and your good with smart driving, i dont have much reason to not believe them right??:confused013:
