I've been out of the car audio scene for a few years now. I'm basically looking for some new door speakers that are less then $200 a set. I know components sound better but has anyone heard any door speakers that have impressed you? I don't know whether to go with 2,3 or 4 way speakers. I don't want to hook a sub up, at least not yet. I still have the factory 6 disc cd changer/radio. I might hook a 4 channel amp up to these speakers also. Thanks.

I used to have a set of Sony Explodes. 6x9 up front and 6.5 in rear of my old 2003 Dodge 1500 and really sounded good! Just my two cents

Yeah I need something. I have my bass setting on like -4 because any sort of mid to high amounts of volume makes them distorted. I've always been a fan of Boston Acoustics but I never heard there 6x9's before. I want something that I can turn up and have them hit pretty good while still being clear. I like the way the silk tweeters sound. They're not to harsh.
