is this just a ram thing?
I never had the same problem with other vehicles; lube takes care of it for a long time except for this truck. Looking at the problem, the associated door parts are loose fitting and they don't line up straight or run true. That may be the reason. I've thought about bending the parts into better alignment but I worry they will break instead.

The angle on your spring plate is far greater than on mine which seems to cause your roller to raise and lower. Mine stays pretty much in the same vertical position throughout the cycle.

I just put antiseeze on this weekend. I did it when I bought the truck 3.5 years ago too. Seems to last a while.

I use white lithium or WD. My in laws 2010 had a bad squeaking problem and this took care of it.

On my 2016 I noticed a very small piece of the rubber on the door seal up front rubs the body ever so slightly causing the squeak on the passenger side. This is the only vehicle I’ve ever had those consistent problems with the hinges.
