But...my psi is 18 at idle but if i floor it through 3rd gear i can drop it down to about 6 or 7. i thought these things were supposed to be able to keep up, i have no mods??

They are supposed to be 15k or so but if you get a batch if filthy fuel then its less. I usually change mine everytime I change the oil.

anything else besides the fuel filter? in 4th gear it doesnt go below 10, i was just expecting it to pretty much stay at maybe 14 at WOT. its not too big a deal considering i dont haul around flooring it everywhere i go.

It has 3/8ths line from fuel tank to the filter inlet, between the vp and filter is the stock line with a tappped banjo for my fp gauge.

How much restriction comes from the stock banjo bolts? is there an increase in psi or is it just volume? or are they somehow related mathematically? volume up psi up in the same sized line? so if open up the lines between filter and vp to 3/8ths wont psi decrease?

i need to be educated on these things!
