Does rear defroster option delete sliding rear window??

Would like the defroster but dont want to loose the slider.

You can have both. No need to delete the slider to get rear defrost.

ok thank you. Going over my build sheet one final time just wanted to make sure before giving the go ahead.
My truck was built in April of this year and I have the rear slider window with defrost...shouldn't be an issue
My truck has both. Haven't used the defrost yet and as long as it's in the dealers shop during the cold snap I won't have to....

That's interesting because a dealer told me that adding the defrost on a '14 3500 Mega meant I had to drop the power slider. Useful intel, thanks.

Pre-2013 that was true. Right as the 2013s came out EVERYONE was confused, including the people at Ram that dealers call for advice on new products. At this point, though, the dealer you talked to is just a willfully ignorant doofus ;-)
