First, does it have one? And second, where is it located? I'm trying to remove smoke odor from the previous owner. So any other tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I don't think there is a cab filter, it would be great. I found a product from a cleaning supply company. It is supposed to destroy smoke odors in fabric, seems to do the job, one of those things you are not supposed to breath in. You can get it in a spray can. Also cleaning the seats could help. The truck I bought smelled like a greasy machine shed almost as bad as smoke! T.20

So far I've steam cleaned the seats, carpet and headliner, coated those areas w/fabreeze left the doors open until it dried, then wiped it all down again with a damp sponge w/a little vinegar and re-applied the fabreeze and let it dry again. I the cleaned all the hard surfaces with cleaner, cleaned the glass and poured a little clear Cleanaire Deordorant from Advance Auto in the fresh air intake and in the windshield wiper fluid. It's alot better but after a week or so it comes back. I wish I could clean out the duct system but I can't figure out how to do it. What's the name of the product you referred to?

How about trying a professional AIR-IONIZER that some of the used car dealers use. I had a friend that sold AIRSOURCE?? air cleaner/ionizer products both residential/commerical. He said dealers would take their worst smelling cars...prior to them buying the ionizer from him..they would "test" the product out.. Plug the unit in overnight with windows rolled up...and odors disappeared by the next working day. I've never used the product/(never had too) but maybe others could comment on similiar products.

This stuff is in a floor care product, Janitor supply place. It is mostly butane, it is called Island fresh, it will do good, an ionizer might be better, from what I hear.Yote

haven't tried it yet, but a lot of people tell me just to put a bowl of vinegar in the car over night (or longer). Any try that?

Cleaned the seats and carpets again, wiped everything down again and I'm leaving the windows cracked a bit, all of this and spraying the fabreeze in the intake with a/c on has finally taken care of the smoke smell. It almost smells new! THANKS!

mine stunk like horse manure when I got it (it really stunk so bad you would gag), so i stripped out the interior (seats, carpet, console, etc), took some carpet cleaner/ odor remover, and pressure washed it. let it dry out, then spray it with febreze and put it back in. my truck still has a faint odor of manure from the a/c, but it is only noticeable when it is warm and rainy with a/c on full blast.
