Gang,

I normally take my truck to Dellen in Greenfield and have had good luck with them. However their diesel tech is out on vacation for 2 weeks! I guess the only have one? :confused013:

So, I keep getting an intermittent P2262 and P2000 on my truck and really need the turbo cleaned.

I towed the camper to Bloominton 2 weekends ago and then drove 560 miles this past weekend; I'm still getting these codes on and off through the week. The truck has 28k miles and I've never had any trouble with codes, towing the camper through the summer seems to keeps things cleaned out.

Anyway, could anyone recommend a dealership to have this cleaned under warranty? I'm 100% stock still, not ready to go the DPF delete route yet.

Thanks!

Mike

Westgate in Plainfield Indiana is a great dealership, worked there for a year and just quit.

Anyone have any experience with O'Brien Dodge\Jeep\Chrysler in Greenwood?

Edit: Just called O'Brien service department and explained the situation. The person on the phone didn't give me a good deal of confidence. First question was, "Have you had any power adders on the truck? That would void your warranty."

Check with Goodwins Dodge in New Castle. I know some of the guys in there, and the service manager. They are good guys and will get you taken care of. They are at the intersection of SR 3 and SR 38. From Greenfield you can take I-70 to the New Castle exit and go North. It's SR 3 that you will exit onto and just take that to SR 38. It's all the way through New Castle.

I bought mine at Dave Burt in Columbus and don't recommend them at all. I have taken it to Fletcher in Franklin they were ok, but Community Dodge in Martinsville has proven to me to have a knowledgeable diesel mechanic. i know none of these are that close to Indy but just wanted to pass this along!

I always had good luck dealing with Fletcher in Franklin when I lived on the southside of Indy. I have a friend that used to work at Goodwins in New Castle and wouldn't hesitate to go there either.

Thanks everyone, for the recommendations. I'll put them to good use. I hate taking my truck in but I've kept it stock to make sure I get the most of my warranty ... at least for now. :)

I will 2nd what he said. go to community chrysler in martinsville its on 37 south they are good to deal with. DO NOT GO TO FLETCHER! if they even see gauges they will void the warranty and im not joking around at all

I just went to Westgate in Plainfield. Seemed like nice folks but I would not call them "mod friendly". I asked the service manager about the use of any programmers and stuff like that. He said they'd void the warranty, no questions asked.

I talked to the diesel tech for quite a while. He seemed like a nice enough guy, knew his stuff but he wasn't going to even suggest he\they would overlook power adding mods, EGR or DPF deletes or the like.

It felt like everyone there was really covering their a$$ to insure they kept their jobs and kept the franchise. Heck, they wouldn't even service my truck until I agreed to put the latest BA flash on it. I reluctantly agreed...

When I do pull the EGR and DPF, I'll be going to a diesel shop and paying out of pocket from then on I guess; that'll be at 36k miles.
