I recently bought a 2006 mega cab, 4x4, 23k miles, 35'' tires with 20" rims. It is only getting around 16 on the hwy:thud: (I drive 60-70mph). The guy i bought it from took the Catalytic converter off when he had a magnaflow put on. Do I need this on, will it make a difference in MPG's?

No you dont need it, and yes it will help some with the MPG and EGT. Plus, it sounds alot better, especially with the muffler off!

I saw no change in MPG when I went to straight pipe. Is your speedo recalibrated for the larger tires? I am getting about the same milage driving 80 on the interstate. If I dropped to 60-70 I would get around 18-19 I think.
