I’ve got the flip up 24 valve plastic tow mirrors and wondering if the 2nd gen 12 valve mirrors that are chrome will bolt right on, just wondering

So you are saying you have the flip up tow mirrors like the newer trucks, and would like to put on this style correct?

I know mounting wise, it should be a direct fit. If you have power mirrors, i'd imagine it would work, but there could have been electrical changes in 98

I’ve got a 01 24 valve and wanting to put those mirrors on replacing my flip up tow ones

On my 97 it was an option. I went with the chrome.

The Chrome was standard and all 97 and before. Chrome were all manual. On 98+ the standard black plastic had power on most models except stock ST. If you truck has the the wide flip out tow mirrors(power or manual) those were added by an owner. All three will fit, maybe slight modification of bolt system may be required. Electronic may need more mods.

I ordered my truck and 97 power chrome mirrors.
