DiProcal Gauge
Thank's much to all who replied. Everything is ordered for the job, and by this time next week (if I can get in the shop) my stock 2001 will have a replacement style OEM lift pump and a mechanical fuel pressure gauge installed. I am going to install the gauge 1st. , start it up, take it for a ride, and see what the stock Carter pump is providing. Then install the new lift pump, bleed what's needed, fire her up, take another ride and check the difference. When I am finished, I will start a new thread here as something like "stock carter vs. fass ddrp" . I know, that some guys don't like the fass ddrp, but, for a number of different reasons I have decided to go with that one at this time, and it will be going into the oem position on the side of the block. If there is an issue with "hard to start" after the fass go's in, I think I might be able to diagnose the problem (thanks to the knowledge gained here and on Mopar Man's site) and be able to come up with a probable cause. I can then proceed from there. I will report back after the job, hopefully without having to seek help with a problem. Thank's again...Hood Latch
