Hey guys just a shot here trying to make my sport comps brighter I already have the led lights in the damn things and they are a little lighter but still kinda dim and the switch is all the way up I like to run low dash lights and have the guages brite any ideas would it help to run a direct line for the lights that are on as soon as I have power to the ignition or am I stuck with the light I am getting?????? Help me see the LIGHT :lol3: :beer

They shouldn't be dim if you're getting full power to them. I know on one of the dimmer wires is less than 12V (I think about half voltage) but I'm not certain. Maybe you connected to the wrong wire? What brand of gauges are they?

Since they are led lights you would need an led light dimmer switch you cannot dim the led lights on your regular light dimming switch.. you can find a led light dimmer switch from one of the sponsors and i know that geno's garage has them if you go to there site. Good luck

That's what I'm thinkin too.
I bought the LED dimmer when I installed my gauges. Works great.

Well I have to say that my led lights do dim with the factory dimmer switch They are Autometer Sport Comps. I am goin to check the voltage this weeked to where I tapped the lead I didnt even think of that I will let ya know if it works Thanks for the input James:thumbsup
