Well just got my new rebuilt tranny with converter and valve body. going to get some delivery valves for the ole girl now. I want more smoke. Are the 191's the best bet for my setup and give me the most smoke, or 181s or laser cuts. I want smoke but i want what is best for my injectors too thanks

You should already have 181's... I've been looking into delivery valves alot lately and it's hard to get a definite answer... I heard lazers are fine for the street, but yesterday I heard 022's are too much for the street, and they are smaller than the laser cuts... I'm thinking about just going with the 191's, I was told they are good for an extra 50 horsepower, that sounds a bit exxagerated to me, but I don't want uncontrolable smoke and less power because I'm putting the fire out...lol... Do some searches and you'll see what I'm talking about...

Dont know if this will help or hurt but... i bought a set of full cuts and they def. run better and stronger but never ran them at the track yet for any real numbers due to the stinkin heat they produce. Its crazy fuel even with stock holders in my case, i have 181's back in now and once i get the temps. more under control i will try the FC's again and post the results. I would think your going to want something much more tame on the street, but it prob. will have lots the do with the inj. that your running also.

On My Truck 191's Were Too Much With The Stock Turbo.also With A Hx40 And 370's They Were Still Too Much.egt Out Of Controll!!!

i have laser cuts and they are great. def give it more smoke and made the truck run so much better. also with the 370s,, they have a bad spray pattern and laser cuts help smooth out the idle. it made a huge difference with mine. i got mine from schied diesel

How much do DVs cost? and are they hard to instal? i think im going with coaltrain performance 5x14 injectors, and a hx35-40 hybrid, and im not sure what fuel plate. It has the bully dog stage 3 in it and a blade runner intake, and s&b cold air. Soon i will build the tranny

if you want more smoke ditch the 370's and get a set of ddp 4's they should smoke a decent amount more, and get a lock up switch if you don't have one, that will allow you to black out intersections.

actually idk what i was thinking ddp4's probably wouldn't smoke much more than 370's if any more, just more power and lower egt's....in this case then laser cuts from schieds should give the smoke he's looking for.

since when have DDP's been smokey??? Smoke is defiantly fun every now and again, but id rather have power!!

Speaking of smoke. With these fuel costs, i've been running a 50/50 mix of diesel/waste motor oil (filtered to 1 micron). Anyway I added a bunch of my filtered motor oil and was heading down to the gas station to dilute it out so it was probably around 75/25 and i floored it just for fun, talk about a cloud of BLACK AS NIGHT smoke, it was awesome. On the bright side, once the truck gets up to temperature, it doesn't smoke any more than normal, runs much quieter than normal and got 24.7mpg with the 50/50 mix on a 208 mile trip yesterday with 2500 lbs in the bed on the 104 miles back
