i have made a few phone calls to see what products are out yet for the 10....H&S said 3 months for a tuner....i really wanna put dual exhaust on the truck but according to mbrp they dont have it out yet....my questions is if i order an exhaust an deletes will it even work on the 10? i know i will get a CEL but thats fine with me for a little while....is that all that would be is the CEL would be on after the deletes?

As far as I can tell, the 2010 Cummins is no different then the 2009 Cummins. Machanical wise. The ECM is the only thing I am aware of so with all else equal, an 09 delete should technically work. I would think the tune on the 2010 ECM is probably the same as the latest tunes for the 2009 but with the added lock on the ECM. I have no proof of course. I would think the previous tricks should be valid like the sims and stuff too.

thats the only thing im afraid of.....im debating on ordering the stuff i need an seeing if it will work....im a lil scared though haha

Can't say that I blame you lol but on the bright side, not everyone is running a 2010 so if you did order it and it didn't work, you could sell it for new price or slightly lower since you didn't really run it. Someone would probably jump on it.

Not sure what companies to check. Look over Rollin Smoke Diesel's site for brands.

just talked to H&S an they said they have 2 2010 trucks in there shop now that they are working on....they said the only thing that i can put on is a delete pipe with some sims, whatever that is..... the exhaust i would have to rig up to make it work. they said basically i should wait until all the stuff is out.....

i for sure love my tunes....the stock system in the truck is bada$$ IMO for stock...wonder how long it will take me to blow the speakers lol

I'm also nervous about pulling things off. Haven't even unplugged the EGR for fear of inducing some random negative effects that the dealer won't cover.

Edge race will work

The edge race should work since it doesn't reprogram the ECU.

It clears all my dpf codes (sims installed) and my egr codes (egr blocked).

It looks like going with either the Edge Race system or doing the "pre-Smarty/XRT/Black Maxx" style of deletes(using the sims and whatnot) will have to suffice until the tuner makers figure out how to crack the boot loader.

EDIT: I wonder if the DPF-R delete system combined with an Edge Juice-Attitude will work on the 2010 with no problems. Anyone have the answer to this yet? Thanks in advance.

Edge Race

Edge will be offering a touch screen monitor in the near future. I think they told me it was a month or two out. You will be able to trade your old monitor in plus dish out some cash. It will look like the CTS. Just call Edge.

I have a late model 09, i have been talking with the guys from DPF-R.com, they have told me that their system will work with 09's and 10's, it is also untraceable, the only thing you have to do is wait 10 sec each time you turn the truck on. I will also clear the CEL for the EGR valve as well if you unplug it, you can get a 4" or 5" stainless turbo back exhaust from them as well. It is not a programmer, it just resets the counters for the DPF filter and the clears the EGR codes.

Call edge before you buy it. I have an 09. The edge doesn't reprogram the truck. It interupts the signal from the ECU and alters it.
