Take your time, and first and foremost, install the Smarty BEFORE deleting. You do this to make sure there are no ECM communication issues before dropping off all the hardware. It's a bad day to find out the tuner won't load and then all the egr and DPF stuff is off. The truck will go into limp mode and you know have a driveway paperweight.

Also, make sure you,are updated to the ME tune before installing.

Thank you for the input. Do I need to go back to stock before updating to me version?
Nope....you can update the smarty all day long. It does not affect the stock saved tune. You can update a million times and in 10 years, theoreticly, load your stock tune back.

There is an extra wiring harness on the cooler tube on my 2011. I can't find any info on what to do w it. My h&s instructions don't show it. Do I just unplug it and zip tie w the egr motor? It looks like some sort of pressure sensor.

Yes... That's fine. Most people call it the cross over tube.

Correct, the 10-12 has this sensor, just unplug it and you will be fine.

You talking about the exhaust, right? Just unplug them all and store away. Some wrap electrical tape around the remaining harness plug to keep water out. Shibby also makes a sano plug kit but it's $$$$ for what you get.

Yes the exhaust. What about the part that plugs into the tranny? Read a few threads talking about unplugging that and most say leave it plugged in. Still waiting for pipes so I have no instructions yet. A lot of people saying they are not very clear and no pics.

Ok been deleted for about 2 weeks truck ran amazing. Last 2 days no passing power on highway hit the throttle truck won't go like it did. Acts like it's 80% full dpf. Wtf!!! smarty jr me version set on sw2 70 hp timing4 no codes! Still power in low gears but doesn't seem as responsive. Followed all directions to a T.
