I have an '08 truck. I head that '08s are a tad more reliable then the '07.5 trucks. Well since the '08s were released mid '07 I would like to know what month my truck was actuly assembled. I know that dealer reflashes and such would make the playing field level and all, but this is for peice of mind

So, can anyone here tell me where i can go online to decode my VIN? I know it can be done, i did this with my '07 Wrangler, i found out it was made in May of '07 and dodged(no pun intended) some serious problems by 2 months.

look at the sticker on your driver door jamb. it will tell you the month/year and plant it was produced
