Well i know that a lot of people are on the border of whether or not to debadge their truck. Since im in the process of doing mine, i decided i would take pictures of one side completed and one side still left factory. This way you can decide whether or not its for you. Hope i can help somebody make a decision. So far i REALLY like my truck debadged.

i actually picked up some new style red/black badges to put on mine to replace the chrome ones. I wish i had the door guards. i probably wouldve left those on my personal truck just cuz i think it makes a slightly more finished look but thats for me to do and you to do as you like. i still like your truck sir

how hard was it to take off the door gaurds? and what did you use?
The door guards were actually easier than the badges. All i used was a heat gun and some fishing line to get it started and then just yanked em' off. I then used 3m's adhesive remover and a plastic scraper to get the glue off.

The chrome rocker trim was the worse thing I ever had to take off my truck. My hands hurt for weeks after that.

yeah, thats the only problem. im gonna try and lightly buff it to see if i can even it out... but then i realized that i have rust all over my truck and i would just look stupid trying to buff out a little light spot when theres rust and patch panels everywhere :rof. I even took off the "eyebrows" on my truck and they changed the paint, and they didnt even rest on the paint, just from casting a shadow.
