so my hydroboost was making noise the other day, so under warranty no biggy decided to take it in and have it replaced.... well started the treck home and next thing i know my trailer brake lights pop on and then i noticed my remote start isnt working.... so i popped the hood and noticed the sensor on the brake fluid deal wasnt in there,, so i plugged it in and disconnected the batteries.... Still Same issues any idea on what could be going on? I would just rather try a few things before driving 40 miles to the dealer

UPDATE: Welll theres another 4 hours of my life ill never get back.... Took the truck back to the dealer, they told me to turn it back to stock and drive it around till the light went back on..... Sure enough 20 minutes of driving and there it was.... left it in the shop the tech told me he reset the computer and some bs where everything needed to re-sync... I told him yea the H&S will read and delete codes... and he was just weirdly amazed..

sooo anyways tuned the truck back up hit the remote start and still nothing, told the dealer he set up a date to look at it again next week... GRRR..... Drove home and halfway there... service 4wd light and trailer brake disconnected popped on the display... still no codes

any ideas this is driving me nuts

If you have Any type of codes thrown or check engine lights the remote start won't function fyi

Your not gonna get any of those codes on the tuner. They're on a seperate BUS for the ABS system. And it is true, your remote start will not work if any code whatsoever is set.

They are not on a separate bus!!!!! You just do not have a scanner capable of reading the other modules

it does not control,it just provides assist to reduce the amount of pressure the driver needs to apply
