Dealer fuel filters -baldwin

I changed fuel filters in a friends 2018 2500 yesterday. First change not done at dealer. I recommended he stay with mopar filters. I was surprised to find baldwin filters in both front and back. Would it be normal for a Chrysler dealership doing service work to use something other than mopar? I checked filtration specs on front filter, <4 is what they listed, but the mopar is 3 microns I’m pretty sure.
Would use of Baldwin cause issues with warranty?
Should I take this as an endorsement for Baldwin filters or a warning about this particular dealership, which has a sketchy reputation in our area?

If that’s true it’s the first I heard of this. Mine is 13 years old and still going. I will have to buy a spare or something else. What did you put on?
How many miles? Your experience with FASS and long life span lift pumps is not the norm.

And this is the 2019 + forum. Apples and oranges compared to OE 3rd gen CR truck filters. Although the same still applies about OE lift pumps.

Why would that matter?
You Seem to be an authority on damn near everything, that’s why I asked.

so let me get this straight… Rock solid fuel systems??? then it’s ok if we buy discount filters and junk fuel?
There is a big difference between talking about anything stock on the system being rock-solid and using replacement parts that are sub-par...be it crappy filters that are known to suck, or getting your fuel from a place that's known to have issues. But if you want to go that route then by all means.

Case in point..my local Sam's Club here in SoCal had their fuel station out of service for a day or so after some of the heavy rains we had. Only the gas pumps were out..diesel fuel was fine according to them. I steered clear of filling up any of our other cars for over a week, but had zero issues with the fuel I used for my truck. I use either Costco or Sam's and try to steer clear of anywhere else simply because I've never had bank card issues with skimmers or anything like that at either of those places.
