Has anybody tried the Dash Command instead of gauges ? You can monitor on your I phone, IPad mini etc.. Or on screen of the pioneer aps radio, If you the capable unit. I am still trying to get system going! Where is the obd2 port? Had it plugged in to the obd port but afraid it will damage port if hit it with my knee. Anyone tried this and got it perfected?

Unless I am smoking something... ODB1 and ODB2 use the same port (under dash). The 1 vs 2 was based on how much data was being reviewed through said port.

That being said, the product looks pretty cool!
Bought a obd splitter for 10$ on Amazon and the wifi obd sending unit for 25$, the iPhone can pickup via wifi. But don't like location of obd port gonna relocate port and leave splitter end to use xrp pro, Leave the sending unit hooked up. Hope some has already done this here
I have the app on my phone and it works well. Lots of info and handy to keep tabs on your truck.
What gauges will it display? Egt... Boost
The OBD2 port has just 2 screws holding it on, try taking those out and flipping it around. It worked when I connected the MM, I kept hitting it with my foot.

Obd1 was installed in some Chevy 6.5's and the like pre 96. EVERYTHING post 96 IS obd2. Just FYI

Obd2 handles way more information than obd1 ever could
