or if she has seperation anxiety you dont leave her in car.

my k9, before i knew about it....ate my personal trucks seat....i had to sit on the frame...tore the head rest off....ate both shoulders out of seat.....ripped te rear door panels off, in the police tahoe....ate both rear air bags, 2 head rests, any wires he could get. in the crown vic, tore the drivers seat back off and shreded my north face jacket...its all my fault cause i knew about the anxiety.

I suggest, if you must leave er in car....try a muzzle, or a jute tug to chew on.

Yes they are telling you to get rid of the dog, just like my mom does anytime I have her watch my dog that has severe separation anxiety

She doesn't destroy anything per say, but will throw trash all over the house, and dump over her water bucket. It doesn't matter if I am gone days, 5 hours, or 5 minutes she will dump her water. . . I gotta make sure I don't have any floor damage when I move out of this place.

You can check car-part.com that will list quite a few places you can order a used one from a salvage yard

But never blame the dog, it's usually not their fault, my dog was a rescue, she was beat and battered by her old owners, and left alone and locked in a kennel for days, so she misses me when I am gone

Your exactly right, most behavior issues are due to improper raising. A dog, untrained will always resort to natural instinct. Its up to the owner/handler to imprint and train. Unfortunately, issues like sep. Anx. are not an easy fix. Anxiety is not something you can use physical correction with. Its a lengthy repair process, but sometimes it is do-able. My fix was simple.....Dont leave him in the car. When i go out of town for confrences and such, he stays the night in the cruiser with a muzzle on.

Yes, we've had her for almost 4 years and still dealing with it, when ever she hears my truck she literally flips out and if she is laying on my fiance she will use her body as a launch station to take off and see me, or if no one is home, she will jump 3 feet in the air to see me out the window in the front door

It's sad people treat animals badly, there is no reason, even worse that people would say get rid of it

Would you people get rid of your child because they colored on your seat with a marker?

Theres nothing wrong with taking care of and loving your dog, but you cannot treat them like people. You are doing them an injustice....treat them like a dog in their pack would and you will end up with a much happier dog. Take a dog with anxiety, knowingly, put them in a position that you know is no good for them....its your fault not the dogs. Whoa the stoves hot, oh well ill touch it again...who dammit the stoves hot, throw that thing out!

Five minutes to go into 711 for can of dip. Im not blaming her or saying anything like you guys may assume. the frustrating part is we have been training her and she's made great improvements yet she still reverts back even when she has been fine in the past with the same situation. those photos are funny. Im in Las Vegas NV. its the taupe tan color.
