Dana 70 yoke question

I have a 89 d-350 that has a bad spindle on the rear axle. I have a 85 model dana 70u dually rear that I bought to replace it with. My question is will the larger yoke originally from the 89 interchange on to the 85. Ive been told they will but I want to be 100% sure before I start tearing things apart. Thanks in advance.

The yokes should be the same you'll know when you take them off.

Yes the yokes will swap over even a yoke from a dana 70 will fit a 60
